Gyda Varden members enjoy benefits from the national Sons of Norway organization like scholarships, cultural badges, and discounts at major retailers. Members also enjoy monthly programming at Lodge meetings, which occur on the second Thursday of every month. Several members organize small group activities through the lodge as well.

Rosemaling paint-ins
Come join us to learn or to work on projects! Experienced and inexperienced painters welcome. Supplies are available for anyone who wants to try it, courtesy of the Nordland Rosemaling Association. Paint-ins occur once per month, on a date agreed upon by group members.
Norwegian Language
Get together with native Norwegian speaker Therese to practice hearing and speaking the language. Meetings are every other week.
